The new 4D Insight platform is an innovative, versatile and systemic solution that enriches training environments to deliver challenging, powerful and realistic learning experiences. This mobile platform operates on smart phones, tablets and laptops and can be used anywhere there is an internet connection, whether at the same site or multiple locations. All you need to do is bring along your device.

Innovative

The innovative web based platform enables the training to be created quickly and efficiently. All instructors have access to the scenario interface, so can add media rapidly to meet the requirements of their training. This media includes video feeds, audio feeds, and social media e.g. Twitter and Facebook to add to the experience of a ‘real-time’ scenario.

Versatile

The system was developed with the aim to provide bespoke and up to date training for the participants. The Instructors interface not only allows for rapid scenario development, this can provide scenarios from a simple decision making task, to complex scenarios that can be dealt with over several days. The platform can be used on any web based device, whether it is a smart phone, tablet or laptop/desktop. It can also be used at multiple locations without the need for expensive infrastructure to support it. The software is also customisable to provide a bespoke corporate feel for the customer with logos and colour schemes.

Systemic

4D Insight is designed to enable systemic thinking. We live in a complex world with complex issues, and sometimes it is possible to respond in a mechanistic way to the issues we face. The scenarios are designed to enable all participants to contribute, so a wide range of perspectives can be used to make more informed decisions. When we view problems from a range of perspectives we may well design new solutions and provide more rigorous decision making for our organisations.

Who is it for?

The platform has been designed to be used in a team environment with syndicates being allocated and team leaders being nominated for each session in the scenario training. This can be based on small groups as part of a training course up to around 20 participants, or larger groups that may form part of a ‘conference style’ approach of up to 100 (or potentially more if required). It is also possible to use it at an individual level e.g. testing command decisions as part of an accreditation process.
